I received this update link … k-2-post-1 (I have an error on my IE). I’m unable to read the content…so I’m not sure if any of you could access to that link?[/quote:dvrynvjf]
It works fine for me…

Problems with IE? Use Firefox:
Portable version (download Firefox_Portable_3.0.7_en-us.paf.exe, run .exe, choose a folder, the .exe extracts all required files into this folder, all bookmarks, extensions and saved passwords were stored in the selected folder, so you can take all this information with you (copy this folder to an usb-stick and you can use this on every computer) )
And use adblock plus:

And here is the siren: <a href="]SP Siren: Week 2, Post 1[/url:dvrynvjf”>

: "By now you have heard the news of my departure from the Smashing Pumpkins. I will say, without going into any unnecessary details that this represents a positive move forward for me. I can no longer commit all of my energy into something that I don’t fully possess. I won’t pretend I’m into something I’m not. I won’t do it to myself, you the fan, or my former partner. I can’t just, "Cash the check" so to speak. Music is my life. It is sacred. It deserves the highest commitment at every level and the Pumpkins are certainly no different. I’m sorry but it really IS that simple. There is no drama, bad blood, or anything else but a full commitment to music. My best goes out to Billy and I’m glad he has chosen to continue under the name. It is his right. I will continue to make music with the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex as well as pursuing other musical interests. I feel that I have a long way to go and a lot to give. Thanks to everyone for your kind words and support through all of this. I am constantly humbled by all of you! It is an honor and a privilege to play music for a living and I don’t take it for granted not even for a second.
Stay tuned……. JC"

[fake] Billy tweets pretty often and on myriad subjects, usually concerning (but not limited to): how the Cubs and wrestling are his only interests these days, how he is Smashing Pumpkins and the Smashing Pumpkins are him, being pissed at Courtney Love, doing whatever manager Irving Azoff tells him to do (including speaking to Congress on his behalf), how dropped D is the only tuning to write music in, how often he f–ks porn stars (namely Sasha Grey winner of the 2008 AVN for Best 3-Way), wanting more silver pants and/or Victorian dresses, talking about his goofy lawsuits that he has already defaulted on multiple times, and how the radio needs to pay him more. The joke well runs deep and plentiful – and sometimes you can’t make this stuff up. "

The one thing to remember is that this guy is a HUGE Smashing Pumpkins fan ("Luna" may be his wedding song), but like a lot of people in the community, he has become jaded not so much on dissatisfaction with the music, but because of the press and the mythos surrounding Billy Corgan. Bloggins calls it "associative listening experience," where we "associate songs with ideas, memories, moods, and the like. The idea of something being overrated or underrated originates from this phenomenon – as you associate a piece of music or an artist with the press it gets. Billy’s infantile actions, since they are novel and epic in scope, have overshadowed the music for me and a lot of other folks."

So with the new SP twitter and a rumoured Billy Corgan twitter underway, what will happen to Bloggins and his satire? Well, if he doesn’t receive a cease and desist letter, than I’m sure the REAL Billy Corgan will do enough to fuel Bloggins for at least the rest of the year.

Bonus: Some excerpts from fake Billy Corgan twitter:
* Well, I wanted to shoot some make-up pool with Jimmy tonight, but *someone* is a little too upset to answer their fucking phone.

As reported by, Kerry Brown had a speaking engagement at University of Southern California this weekend. Presumably he spoke shop about audio engineering and mixing, but his long time buddy Billy Corgan was with him.

James, a little uncomfortably replies, "I wish them the best, Billy’s very talented, but yah, I’m not really a part of the new thing." … r_embedded

Matt Walker, the touring drummer during the MCIS tour and recording partner of Billy Corgan has been profiled again this week by PMM Writer BlackChicago. This time we take a look at Matt Walker’s other projects like Cupcakes, Ashtar Command, Beautiful Assassins, Of A Thousand Faces, and Impossible Recording Machine.

Matt Walker recently gave percussion support to Jimmy Chamberlin during the Chicago shows on the recent 20th Anniversary Tour.
