I was just wondering why HTML isn’t allowed in the signatures. Is there an actual reason for this, as i wanted to add something in HTML… but can’t.

Sorry for the very late reply, I was rather busy with the many projects I have.

The use of HTML in signatures or posts is a serious security risk. Therefore BBCode is supported in this forum, a pseudo HTML coding, which has be proven to be more secure.

Help on BBCode can be found .

As implied earlier, BBCode can be used in signatures too.

I hope this answer will satisfy your need.

Fair enough.

I just wanted to use a website button to link back to it. Can’t do that in BBCode. That’s all, i’m over it now anyway :)

Thanks for clearing it up though.
