What if the Smashing Pumpkins would do such thing in 2009? Just a few gigs, paying tribute to the rock heroes. What band should they pay tribute to? I’m going for… Thin Lizzy.

 Just a bit over the hour, pretty fast! Yeah, that’s why I think they could do a Tribute to … this band.

Maybe something involving David Bowie’s career, for example.

I was thinking how Saturnine/Satur9 would go well with Bowie in a film scene, or something.

i like Billy’s version better than Thin Lizzy’s version of Dancing In the Moonlight personally, but i’ve never actually heard Thin Lizzy until here now- i know i need to brush up on my older rock

i do like Zeppelin though, that would be cool or maybe more Beatles or how about The Cure or Pink Floyd or something.

those two bands (cure pink floyd) crossed my mind as well.

but neithe of those bands rock out and go apeshit. i think the tribute would neccesitate that.

i would just like to maybe hear more covers of those bands.

but yeah, i guess it would have to have some harder stuff too. i don’t know then.
